Since its founding in 1952, Academia Santa Rosa de Lima has been committed to the comprehensive development of its students, providing a high-quality education grounded in Gospel values and academic excellence.

The institution began operating as a catholic elementary school during the 1959-1960 academic year. It was founded by the Dominican Fathers in response to the population growth and the educational needs of families in Bayamón. Throughout the years, the Academy has evolved to meet social, educational, and technological changes while remaining faithful to its mission of forming well-rounded individuals committed to their faith, their community, and their personal growth.

Today, Academia Santa Rosa de Lima continues to strengthen its legacy through an inclusive, innovative education centered on the spiritual, academic, and personal development of every student.

Academia Santa Rosa de Lima, as part of the educational system of the Catholic Church, has the mission of forming its students comprehensively, strengthening their spiritual, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and civic growth.
